That was my initial thought as well Willie !
Not bad prices for a bottle Either.....
Port Askaig Cask Strength 57.1% £37.99
Port Askaig 17yo 45.8% £49.99
Port Askaig 25yo 45.8% £74.99

Yeah the CS is roughly comparable with the OB CI CS price and the older bottles look like good value, especially the 25yo.
Tim's tasting note wouldn't put you off the idea of it being CI either.

...but with the option to change to any other Islay distillery without having to change the branding, which looks stunning and really like an official distillery bottling. Stunning or boring? Actually I can't quite decide.

Its a bit of a mix between Ardbeg and PE annual release packaging.

Nose: Citrus and sweetness initially, with lemon juice, orange zest, honey and lemon curd. The phenols are restrained, lurking in the background as coal and wet burnt wood. With time more sooty notes emerge, alongside grapefruit, tangerine peel and faint medicine cabinet hints.
Smell like a Laphroaig for me.
Any way very nice bottle and announcement, If I can I will get one of each.
