The Maggie was released in 1954 and filmed on location
around the west coast of Scotland including a large part of it on Islay .Made
by the famous Ealing Studio , it doesn't quite match up to the earlier "Whisky
Galore" . the Film was released in the United States as "High and Dry".It is
available on VHS and DVD in the United Kingdom , i got my VHS copy from the Distributors ,
