It Took me a very long time to get into Bunnahabhain Whisky , i was never really took by the old 12yo . It wasn't until i tried the 1965 Feis Ile bottling that i really started to show any interest . Since then i've like all the Bunnys i've tried and found it much to my liking . I haven't tended to buy as many as say the Ardbegs and Bruichladdichs but i'm starting to get a few more . My favourites seem to be in their mid to late teens and from a Bourbon cask , I think it's the sweetness that attracts me to them ! |

Jesus this is a good dram , this is the bottling that turned my thoughts on Bunnahabhain from Mediocre malt to what a superb output this distillery can have and it's since been proven right after a delve in Warehouse No.4 !!!!!! |
| Colour- Mahogany |
| Nose- Surprisingly not over-powering sherry , it's there but the spiciness and christmas cake keeps it in check . A gentle giant on the nose . |
| Taste- Cola Cubes , vanilla , dried fruits , and a touch of peat , glorious ! |
| Finish- this is where the sherry hits home a bit more along with a tad a spiciness and a touch pepper . Oh And my favourite Cola Cubes……. |

| Colour- Polished Gold . |
| Nose- Sea Air , slight Confectioners Sugar . |
| Taste- Malty , slight butterscotch , not as sweet as other Bunnahabhains , it does open up after a little while . |

| Colour- Light Amber . |
| Nose- Light sherry with marshmallows , vanilla and cinder toffee . |
| Taste- Dried fruits , spice , vanilla , as the dram goes on the sherry starts to dominate . |
| Finish- Not too long , a bit flat but not unpleasant . |

| Colour- Lovely deep amber / light mahogany . |
| Nose- Initially Sherry but bursts with dark fruits , spices and eventually the "Edinburgh Rock" smell i associate with Bunny wafts through . |
| Taste- Well Balanced between the sherry and the spirit . The traditional Christmas cake and the "Rock" tastes intermingle superbly . Very dry on the tongue . |
| Finish- Long , dry and warming . the sherry dominates the distillery characteristics onthe finish but who cares ! |

many ancient butts.....) ,Bright Gold. |
| Nose- Very fresh , Green Fruits , good sweetness to it . |
| Taste- Apples (green fruit , Mel got pears), slight bit of smoke and
maltiness. |
| Finish- lovely finish , lingering honeyness (which i've never had

| Nose- The nose is definitely from a sherry cask , the old Christmas Cake Syndrome kicks in . Spices , Dried fruit , treacle . Luckily the sherry isn't over-whelming ( Sign of a good cask ) . |
| Taste- Spicy , Candied peel ( it's that bloody christmas Cake again !) , fruity and nutty . |
